GM Cheil Women’s Clinic’s Birthing Center can provide you with a more natural and family-centered experience of giving birth. Our birthing center features labor rooms with pleasant and warm environment that provide the comfort of a home, as well as separated rooms just for breastfeeding allowing for further bonding with your newborn. It also features fully equipped operating rooms nearby in case of any emergencies.

Great Mom Birth Tips
You are already a “Great Mom.”
You are a superb mother for making this great decision for your baby.
The “great mom” birthing protocol is individualized to fit the needs of the mother. Birthing process is flexible and is easily adapted towards a more natural way based on mother’s desire and comfort.
During Contraction
The father can help mother by accompanying her throughout the laboring process. In order to reduce the labor pain as well as minimize the use of epidural, the father can massage and bathe mother when appropriate. The mother can walk around freely as she pleases and have snacks in between to replenish her stamina. It is recommended to drink plenty of water and other beverages with electrolytes to stay hydrated.
After Birth
As soon as the baby is born, both mother and father of the newborn can provide kangaroo care. The umbilical cord is cut only when the cord pulse has stopped so that the newborn can emotionally and physically stabilize. Afterwards, it is highly recommend that the parents and the newborn stay together to ensure bonding and successful breastfeeding.
